Bog Dog Blog July 4 2008
Following my notes last week regarding Ruska I have received the following e-mail from Debbie Robinson letting me know
that Ruska’s Kenel name is Coffee’s Give Us A Break.
Last week-end was another great one for Ant Andrews,
he went to Bridgford & District Show, and won the PUPPY CLASS ,BEST AVNSC PUPPY, THEN WINNING GROUP 2, THEN
WINNING PUPPY GROUP 1 with Ollie all under Nicola Calvert then in the big ring WINNING BEST PUPPY IN SHOW UNDER Ian Layfield,
The following day Ollie did it again winning BEST PUPPY IN BREED AND BEST PUPPY IN SHOW AT East Riding Gundog Society Show,
the breed judge was Mr Ernie Lockett and BIS judge was Mrs Eileen Gates the IWS Best of Breed under Mr Ernie Lockett was Byjazz
Razzmatazz at Risalpur owned by Alison McNaught,
The World Dog Show is taking place in Sweden this weekend,I know
several people from the UK have flown over to see it so I should be able to give you more news next week.

Bog Dog Blog 28th June 2008
I am pleased to say that Keith Attwood came home from hospital last Tuesday after having
an operation following his recent heart attack and he is now resting at home. I am sure you will join me in wishing a full
and speedy recovery.
Unfortunately I received some more upsetting news that Rosemary Taylor, the wife of the IWSA
Chairman Roger Taylor, has been rushed into hospital with a brain tumour. I have not got any more news but I know you will
all join me in wishing her well.
Blackpool At Blackpool Championship Dog Show last week, the breed was judged by Mr M Herwin there was an entry of 33 with
9 absentees on the day. Dog CC was Sh Ch Zanfi Elder owned by Mrs E Waters, Reserve Dog CC was Sh Ch Cuboglach Woodland Brown
owned by Mr & Mrs Ford, Bitch CC was Sh Ch Zanfi Tabitha owned by Mr N Waters Reserve Bitch CC was Cuboglach West Coast
Lady owned by Mr M Ford, Best Puppy was Antedela Oleander owned by Mr Ant Andrews Tabitha was Best of Breed. The
following day Ant Andrews went to the North of England Spaniel Club Show where IWS were judged by Hannah Cooper and won Best
of Breed with Antdela Arabella and Reserve Best of Breed and Best Puppy with Antedea Oleander, Ollie then went on to
win Best Puppy in Show which was judged by Mrs E Shewell (Belcam)
Southern Counties
At the recent Southern Counties Canine Association Championship Show Sh Ch
Castlehill’s Quantum Leap for Fynder won AVNSC Gundog and was short-listed in the group. He is owned by Pepi Barrington,
Sue Tapp and Penni Smith.
Windsor
Today
was Gundog Day at Windsor Ch Show where IWS were judged by Caroline Baxter, there were 37 entries, and only 4 were absent,
Dog CC was Sh Ch Zanfi Elder, owned by Mrs E Waters, Reserve Dog CC was Fynder Sea Biscuit of Glenderry, owned by Vickie Norman-Massa
Bitch CC was Cuboglach West Coast Lady owned by Mr Martyn Ford, Reserve Bitch CC was Stanegate Sparks will Fly (AI) owned
by Judith Carruthers Best of Breed was West Coast Lady and Best Puppy wasFfynder Sea Biscuit of Glenderry. It was nice to
see Vickie and indeed Peter Rochford back in the ring after a few year’s absence showing new puppies
I have had an e-mail from Pat Wake letting me know that Susanne Nilsson ‘s Ruska has become a champion, I do
not know her kennel name but she was bred by Marie Engstrom and her parents are Coffees the Commitment and Coleenville Stop
the Rain.
