News from Pat Wake that at the IKC’s Bangor Championship Show Remix Ir Sh Ch Sh Ch & Sw Ch Gatewood Invitation from Coleenville was Reserve Best in Show, the breed judge was Pam Blay and the BIS judge was June Beggs who is better known to us by her maiden name , June Wall.

When I first owned and showed an an IWS in 1981, the breed classes had a lot more entries at Championship Shows  with CC’s on offer then today but not so many when CC’s were not on offer but times have changed and today  people seem to be travelling further afield and entering in AVNSC  as at Bournemouth Championship  Show last weekend where there was an entry of 14 of which 7 were IWS’s Best Dog was Sh Ch Zanfi Ego owned by Liz Waters, Best Bitch Sh Ch Zanfi Tabitha owned by  Nick Waters  Best of Breed was Ego and best Puppy was Antdel a Oleander owned by Ant Andrews

 I heard of some exciting news this week that another litter of IWS has been produced by AI, they were born to Doonbeg Guinevere who is owned by Chris and Keith Attwood using semen from the late IR Sh Ch Maestro of Currabell who was owned by Emer Mooney .

I am sorry but the news will be a bit late next week, unfortunately I have to go into UCL hospital  for a couple of days but just ring or e-mail the news to me and I will forward it to the Jaki Porter as soon as possible.
