At the recent Dukeries Gundog Club Show,Irish Water Spaniels were judged by Karen Stirk (Grakar), BOB was Antdela Oleander (Ollie) owned by Ant Andrews who went on to be shortlisted in the last eight  from 32 entries  for Best in Show by Mrs J Marris-Bray.

Yesterday Friday January 9th at Boston Champions  Show Irish Water Spaniels were judged by Janice Wakerley (Gallyhill) BOB was  Fynder Sea Biscuit of Glenderry owned by Vickie Parker-Massa  and RBOB was Antdela Oleander owned by Ant Andrews,Ollie then went on to get 3rd spot in the Open Stakes where the judge was Anne Kennedy-Clifton.  Antdela Larix (Max) won the Yearling Stakes  from an entry of fifth teen, the judge being Sharon Goodwin

 Some sad news to report, Penny & Richard Willoughby have lost Sh Ch Zanfi Nimrod, he was just three years old, he was their first IWS and was shown in the ring by Nick Waters he was bred by Mrs E Waters and was by Sh Ch Foulby Burnt Out at Rossut and Sh Ch Zanfi Tabitha. He was Penny & Richard’s first IWS,it is very sad when any IWS dies but it seems more so when the dog in question is so young, I am sure all our thoughts are with Penny & Richard.

The points trophy winners for 2008 are The Shannon Trophy for Top Irish Water Spaniel Sh Ch Zanfi Ego owned by Mrs E Waters, the Princhetts Trophy for B.O.S Stanegate Sparks Will Fly (AI) owned by  Judith  Carruthers and the Sophie & Seamus Trophy for Top Puppy Antdela Oleander owned by Ant Andrews .
