I hope the weather has not disrupted your plans this week.
Chesham was cut off from the outside world last Monday,
no trains or buses could get in or out of the town, the bins have not been collected and we had no post for four days, the
main roads are now clear but we still have snow and ice on the minor roads apparently our County Council only have enough
money to grit 25%of the roads this situation could only happen in this country. The weather did not bother Buddy his walks
over the fields have been more interesting.
Congratulations to one of our members from Sweden Susanne Nilsson who
has recently had a baby daughter called Elina , she has started to go for walks with the dogs in her pram when the temperature
does not go below minus seven degrees!!
Any members who attended the AGM last March can you please contact me.
Crufts is just a month away, the entries have been announced and the IWS have an entry of 41 dogs. Pat Wake and other
members of the committee will be manning the breed club stand and Marion Kong has organised, owners and dogs to represent
the breed in Discover Dogs. I certainly enjoy meeting up with members from the UK and overseas.
Keep the news
coming
