A few months after Don and I brought our first IWS in 1981, we went to a Dog Show held on Newmarket Race Course and met Chris Attwood and we became and have continued to be very good friends with both Chris and her husband Keith .Last year was not a very good year for them but I am pleased to say that Keith will be celebrating his 70th birthday later this week. I am sure all of you who know him will join me in wishing him a Happy Birthday and good health for the future.

I sent the latest mailing out last Friday, it contains the agenda for the AGM, minutes from 2008 AGM and the latest newsletter so you should all have them by the middle of next week, if not let me know and I will send replacements. After doing the mailing I noted that the time of the AGM was not on the notice but it will be the same as usual 11 o’clock.

The proof of the 2008 edition of the Year Book should be with the sub committee soon, many thanks to all of you that have advertised and have taken the time to write articles for this edition, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the year book sub-committee for all their help this year.
