It is with great sadness that I have to report the death earlier today of Rosemary Taylor after a long illness bravely borne. Roger has asked  for privacy for a while  and for people not to contact him, but I am sure that  your thoughts will be with him at this very sad time. When I have details of the funeral I arrangements I will let you know.

Don and I, along with several members of the IWSA, attended the funeral last Monday of Christine Bateman. Bryan. Fleur and Selena had requested no flowers but donations to the IWSA Welfare Fund and I have been receiving cheques from both members and friends who knew Christine. I shall be pleased to continue to accept any cheques that you may wish to send.

In the United States of America at the Westminster Show last week IWS’s were judged by Ms Virginia Lyne Best Dog and Best of Breed was Sh Poole’s Ide Got Water RN (Keegan) Bred by Greg Siner and Debbie Patterson and owned by Greg, Stacey Duncan and Coleen McDaniel his sire is Multi Champion Fynder Freethinker and his Dam is Greg’s Poole’s Ide Then there’s Maude. Keegan was handled by Stacey and went on to gain Group 2 in the Sporting Group under judge Dr Donald Sturz Jr.. Best Opposite Sex was Keegan’s sister Poole’s Ide Bonnie Brook, owned by Sally Lewis and Lois MacDonald Congratulations to Greg and Stacey. For those of you who do not know the Westminster Show is the equvalent to Crufts in this country.
