I am afraid I have to start the notes with the sad news that Vickie Norman-Massa has lost Sh Ch Fynder Funride
at Glenderry JW. He died suddenly, he would have been 12 years old in July, one of his many successes in the shown ring
was winning te Gundog Group at Driffield in 2000.
News from Ant Andrews, at the Eastwood Kennel
Association show last weekend, Antdela Lucianna (AI) won the AVNSC Junior Class, then won best AVNSC Puppy,and then went on
to win the Puppy Group all judged by Joyce Webb (Shannonlee).
News from Ireland that that Sh Ch
Ir Sh Ch Su Ch Gatewood Invitation From Coleenville ANCH (Remix) won her 21 st group at the
recent Combined Canine International Dog Show and then went on to win 3rd Best in Show,
the Breed judge was Ms N Nekrosiene (lit) the group judge was Mr N Deschuymere (BE) and the Best in Show judge was Mr J Daly
(Ire).
I am expecting the 2009 edition of the Year Book to be delivered to me at the beginning of
next week so I hope to have them posted out to all fully paid up members by the end of next week.
They
maybe some hitches with the website in the next couple of weeks, Jaki is redesigning it for us, as she is giving up being
the webmaster in the near future. I would like to thank her on behalf of all the members for all the work that she had done
for the Association over the last few years, not many of you will know that Jaki has not only been our webmaster but has been
doing so all at her own cost thus saving the Association a large amount of money.
