As you know, we try to rotate the geographical location of the Mingles and this time we’re
in Sussex, being hosted by Michael Corfield and his IWS, Drummond. Michael runs a pub in Boreham Street called The Bulls
Head (www.bullsheadborehamstreet.co.uk)
So it’s to his dog-friendly establishment that we’ll be retiring
for lunch after our walk. However, we’ll meet at Herstmonceux Castle carpark because it’s signposted with
brown tourist signs and easy to find (
www.herstmonceux-castle.com).
Usual time 10.45 for 11am walk.
Date: Saturday 6 March
Meeting place: Herstmonceux Castle carpark
Pub: Bulls Head, Boreham Street, Herstmonceux, Hailsham, BN27 4SF, Tel: 01323 831981
Sue Hempstead (Cuvana) will
be joining us for lunch and to offer grooming advice and tips after lunch. She’s not offering to do all the hard
work for you, but if you want to know how to trim a topknot, examine feet, which tools are best to use for grooming IWS, then
Sue will be on hand to help.
If anyone would like to stay down in the area and make a weekend of it – you
have the beautiful towns of Rye and historic Battle in the immediate neighbourhood, please contact Michael for B&Bs etc
in the area. If several of us stay down on the Saturday night, we can walk together Sunday morning too, if there’s
a demand for it?
Please let me know if you're planning to come on
debsrobuk@yahoo.com or Tel 01243 389005.
Regards
Debbie Robinson
