About The Event
Documentation required to facilitate the conducting of the IWSA 2021 AGM has been sent to Members by email or post. This included:
1. An Agenda to conclude the remaining 2020 AGM business.
2. A copy of the 2019 Accounts and Treasurers report
3. An Agenda for the 2021 AGM
4. A copy of the 2020 Accounts and Treasurers report
5. The Officers reports for 2020
In order to conclude the AGM business, the date of 25th May 2021 has been set as the deadline for any responses or objections to the proposals set out in the Agendas to be received. In order to simplify the process for all concerned you do not need to respond if you are happy with the proposals as set out in the Agendas. A Nil return will be counted as a positive response.
Any Member objecting to any of the proposals made in the documentation must lodge their concern(s) with the Secretary, by email, by the deadline, which will be counted as a negative response. All responses must be with the Secretary by 12 Noon on this date in order to be counted.
Once the deadline has passed any negative responses will be counted and deducted from the total number of eligible Members, with a response from a Joint Membership to be counted as 2 votes. As per usual IWSA voting practice a majority for or against will determine the outcome.
All members will be advised of the outcome at the earliest opportunity.
