IWSA Photo Competition - 2023 Calendar
By popular demand, the Irish Water Spaniel Association (IWSA) is holding another series of photo competitions, with a view to selecting pictures to be featured in an ‘IWSA Calendar' for the year 2023.
The IWSA invites its members to submit photos for consideration, and to help choose the pictures to be included in the calendar by voting for their favourites from within the submissions. Each month will have a ‘theme', and photos are sought portraying the IWS in a setting for which the theme title can be used to caption or describe the selected pictures.
We seek pictures that are pleasing to the eye whilst depicting the character, characteristics and temperament of the Irish Water Spaniel at play, at work, on show or at home. We propose publishing the calendar in LANDSCAPE format, so photographs also in landscape format will be particularly welcome, so that they can be displayed to the largest and best advantage.
To celebrate the work done by our Welfare and Rescue team, July's theme is 'Life in my new home', and entry for this month is limited to pictures of dogs that have found a new home through the IWSA Welfare and Rescue Scheme.
Photos taken by a professional photographer will not be accepted.
Entries will be displayed here on the IWSA web site, and the pictures receiving most votes will be included in the calendar. A copy of the finished calendar will be awarded to each Member that submits a selected picture.
